I feel bad for him...but this may be beneficial to Houston. Would be ironic if they made it ouf of the first round of the playoffs this year.

This eliminates one blockbuster trade prior to the deadline.

He's undergoing microfracture surgery. Obviously he wasn't just whining and had a real problem.

Too bad. I loved watching him play earlier in the decade. It's a shame all that talent has been held back by injuries.

well he will be out for a year now and the players with micro fracture surgeyr tend to say they are not 100% for 6 months-year after they resume playing. This may be good for houston. It may them get a lottery pick in two years and then T-Mac will be back at full ability(?). Remember Tim Duncan and David Robinson.

    TRACY!

    Whole Houston hates him. (Exaggeration)

Well... I told my friend who is a huge Tracy fan and he finally realized Tracy is pathetic.

He tells the media first. Rick (coach) and Morey (GM) found out like the fans. How can you not tell your coach? How can you just open your mouth?

    Rick is disappointed.

Every day that passes, more and more Houstonions have realized Tracy is a quitter. Hopefully Morey knows this soon, and ships him.

And to think... we could have gotten Rip Hamilton and Prince for Tracy.

I never liked him; the price to get him was my favorite player. Just a FYI.

Tracy's prime has quickly come and gone. I think he's still got game, but the physically toll his body has taken has clearly affected him mentally too.

Looks like T-Mac didn't handle his injury disclosure properly; Adelman is frustrated:

I'm thinking he'll be out of a Rockets uni by the time the next season starts. He's apparently lost favor with Houston fans and personnel.
