Spring Training IP Advice - Please Help

I'm going to 3 Spring Training games in Arizona and have a few questions.

How many baseballs should I bring?

What type of baseball is good for autographs and cheap?

Any differences between getting auto's during ST and regular season? I've seen some people's IP success during ST and they get like 8-12 a game when it's considered a good day (at least IMO) when you get 3-4 during the reg. season.

Oh, and I'm seeing the Mariners so I'm going for Griffey!

Best of luck at the games. I have heard that the minor league complexes as actually the best places to go as there are many more players and few fans. That is due to the fact that all the stars are at the big league camps though. The number of balls that you take would depend on what you are after. Bring a large number, if you are after any player at all and not as many if you are only chasing the stars. I always tell people going to games to be sure to pack a package of index cards. They are so portable, cheap and can work for any player. You can always frame them later with a photo that will make a nice display. They are a nice and easy fallback item. The baseballs to use was a question? I would suggest getting a leather ball. The most expensive are the official MLB baseballs, but they hold the autograph very well! I would also suggest and ballpoint pen. I have seen balls signed with a sharpie look very bad as the color seems to spread. Best of luck and let us know how you do!

Those balls are for solo autos since there are little space to sign (one sweepspot and little side) so if you want multiple players to sign it, you should get a OMLB ball.

I just came back from st and where i was in florida i couldnt think of anywhere to get a decent baseball. so i happened to be in walgreeens and saw they had wilson leather balls for 2.99 so i picked one up. went to the register and they were marked down to 75 cents! i couldn't believe it and they were good leather balls also. so i went on and bought the box of about 15 balls or so for around 10 bucks. deffinately worth it. good luck!
