Basketball Theme Weeks 2009 Contest

What is this contest?

Contest will take place in the Basketball Show and Tell forum!

Each week the basketball team will randomly choose a theme. A thread in Show and Tell will be created announcing the theme of the week. Members will be allowed to submit their card entry pertaining to the theme. For example, if the theme is dual player autographs, you can submit one card featuring a dual autograph. You have from Sunday until Saturday to enter. Once the entry week ends, a new thread will be created and SCF members will get to vote on which entry they believe was the best. The winner of the week will get a point in the standings. If there is a vote tie, each member will get half a point (.5). Once a theme week ends, a new theme week will begin right away.

Theme Weeks 2009 begins February 22nd and ends in December.

Each confirmed card entry will received 25 card cash after voting ends for the week. If you remove your entry before voting ends you will not be eligible for card cash.

Any entries with cards that do not apply to the theme or with more than one card in the scan will be ineligible if it is not changed prior to the start of voting.

Each entry will consist of one card and a handwritten note that displays your SCF username and the date of your entry.

-3 or more color patch
-Rookie jersey auto numbered to 100 or less
-Numbered to 50 or less (no relation to other autograph themes)
-Retired & HOFers
-Dual auto
-Multi (three or more player autographs)
-Worst looking signature
-First or last made (example: 1/499 or 499/499)
-Random: any autograph card of your choice that does not fall under an existing theme.

Game Used
-4 color patch
-3 color patch
-Rookie jersey numbered to 100 or less
-Numbered to 50 or less (no relation to other game used themes)
-Retired & HOFers
-Dual jersey
-Multi (three or more player jerseys)
-First or last made (example: 1/499 or 499/499)
-Non jersey memorabilia, such as a towel, court, ball, or net.
-Random: any game used card of your choice that does not fall under an existing theme.

Non Auto/GU cards

-Rookie parallel numbered to 50 or less week #2

-Have at least 3 different color versions of one card (such as green, red, black)
-Have at least 3 different variations of one card (such as refractor, black refractor, xfractor)

Other
-Best dunk photo on card week #1
-Best oddball photo on card
-Best diecut card
-Best photo on the back of a card
-Best teammates cards
-Most bizarrely shaped card
-Least deserved text praise on back of card
-Tall vs short: card featuring a 7 foot player and a 5 foot player side by side
-Graded card: 9 or higher
-Randomly selected jersey number - players actual jersey on card must match the random number (multiple weeks)

Standings
