Official Lakers @ Wolves thread
I figured we'd lose by 40, yet the Wolves are UP by 4 in the fourth quarter! If the Lakers lose here, or even if they win by a few points, I'll have 2nd thoughts about them being western conference champions....

20 seconds left, LA up by 3, Minnesota's ball. I smell OT!

Ok, so the Lakers won by 3 in regulation. Still, that is NOT impressive against the worst team in the west.

The Lakers just had an off-night defensively. The Lakers have a tendency to play down on their lesser opponents, but regardless, a win is a win.

Well, without Big Al, they are - record-wise, they have more wins than a few teams, but I bet they'll drop to 14th in the west by the end of the year.

Yea poor T-Wolves.
I actually love T-Wolves. People say crap about Kevin McHale and stuff but I still think he is a very good GM and even though it was only for a couple weeks, he proved to be a good coach too lol
Its really unfortunate for them to lose Al Jefferson. I really feel them as I felt the horrible feeling when Bynum went down before Big Al. It even sucks that they are losing really bad since Al went down too.
Anyway, it is true that Lakers tend to play bad against bad teams and step up against good opponents.
But yea, I hate when they do that though. I could never understand it.
Maybe thats why we lost to the Celtics last year. Not mentally tough enough lol
