Card Show Pickups 2/22/09

I went to the Gibralter Trade Center show in Taylor, MI today and picked up a few nice cards. Nothing huge but nice since I had to limit my spending today.


First here is what I picked up from the $.25 boxes:

Tayshaun Prince Fleer Auto /300 (paid $10)


Does anyone know what brand of Fleer the Tayshaun auto is? The back just says 04-05 Fleer. I looked in the new Beckett I just picked up today and there are no listings for just Fleer from 04-05. I looked through all the different listings of Fleer brands and couldn't find the card. If anyone has any info on the card that would be appreciated.


Not a bad day. I stayed away from buying a box or packs today which is usually where I blow my money. I wanted to buy a box of 08-09 SPA but didn't see any.

Great show..and some sweet pickups as far as I can see. As far as that T.Prince auto goes..that was a WEIRD set..they're hard to find in the price guide altogether. I have 2 verisions of the Drew Gooden same brand..took me forever to find it...this is yours:

Nice deals! The Maxiell Reflections Blue Auto #/50 is really cool! I just bought the exact same card for my C.J. Miles PC! I spent $17 on it though.

Those Fleer autos were used as replacements before fleer went belly up.

ponyboy and bravesfan: thanks for the info on the Tayshaun card. I was a little hesitant buying it since I didn't know much about values of the card but I figured it's #'d /300 so $10 was probably about average. I could maybe find it on ebay cheaper but this one is in excellent condition.

Matt: no problem. I might not get it out to you until next week because I just found out today that I am getting laid off on Friday so this is going to be a crazy week. I'll let you know when I mail it out.
