My last name is another that is spelled as soon as I pronounce it. It's pronounced shy-er, like the guy that plays for dude only spelled Shirar.

I have the same thing going on with my name. "Ryan" is pretty easy but when people get to my last name they often butcher it. I mean, it's pretty simple really. It's a combination of two words. "Churchward" you'd think wouldn't be too hard. But I get Chuckword, Churchwood, Churchwar, Churchwill, Churchill. I had a college professor call me Churchwarden all year because he didn't know any better.

I regularly have to spell out my last name. I mean, it's not that hard. I just tell them "it's Church w-a-r-d." Sound it out, genius.

I sat here for 2 minutes trying to pronounce that and the best I got was Sh-in-e-goy.

    I'm way off, I know.

My last name gets spelled and pronounced wrong all the time. It is DiOrazio (said Duh-raw-zee-o) and people often spell it Dirazio, Darazio, and many others. It also sometimes gets called Dio-ray-zee-o quite a bit.

Somehow my teacher also constantly called me Justin. Not sure how you get Justin out of Jason, but whatever, haha.

My name doesn't get mispronounced, but I saw this last name and wanted to know how to pronounce it:

    Saraceno

    I'm assuming it's Italian.

People usually don't mispronounce my name, but they frequently misspell it.

When people first meet me, or when a roll is called, they always mispronounce/misspell my first name. They pronounce it like Jamie (Jay-me) instead of how it is actually pronounced, Jaime (Hi-meh).

People always spell my last name wrong too - Gonzales instead of Gonzalez.
