    08-09 SP Limited?

Just curious as to when this was released? Is it a completely different set than SP Authentic? I have looked for a release date, and cannot find any info on the web about this set at all. Looking for any info please. I am seeing the singles for sale all over the place on Ebay.....but havent seen hobby boxes for sale. Is this a higher end set? Lower end? Retail only? Any info would be appreciated.

Where can I buy these? Are there Auto cards? How much is a box?

    Pic of cards in question!!!

I will go ahead and correct you. It's not from Rookie Threads.

    i think its sp authentic.

I'll go ahead and correct you as well.. Its not SP Authentic. Ive busted 3 boxes of Authentic...and havent seen anything like it.

These cards just hit Ebay for the first time a couple of days ago. So, I was assuming it just came out, or is due to come out in the next few days. But, I've searched online...and cannot find a release date of any kind.

I'm gonna have to correct you. It is from 08/09 SP Authentic. I am assuming they are rare and hard to pull.

Interesting!!! We have seen 10-15 breaks here on SCF, with none pulled. And I have watched 7-10 breaks on youtube with none pulled.

Thats crazy, becasue they are selling for $3-$5 on ebay.

I'm going to have to correct all of you cause none of you are right :-)

"SP" is retail only and is similar to SP Authentic. The same base set exists, only different color foiling. There are retail only Authentic Profiles cards and that dual jersey is retail only as well and comes one per retail blaster box. There are no patch rookie autos in the product, though there are rookie autographs. Not sure how hard they are to pull, but this is what they look like:

If you'll remember, UD did something similar last year with retail SPA, there were rookie autos that were hand numbered that were only available in retail packs

Osh is right, it's a retail-only product. The retail version seems quite hard to find.

Gator and osh are right. They did the same retail set last year. It just has never had a huge retail presence.
