Suns: Stoudemire could miss 8 weeks

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3921500

Wow what a bunch of morons. The reason they didnt trade anyone was because they thought they could make a run with the new coach. Then the next day they find out they are losing amare for the remainder of the regular season possibly. IDIOTS Unless the other teams falter then this season is a wash now.

    Good move Kerr

Well, they didn't know about Amare til today, so they couldn't have done much about it...so, I can't fault the Suns for not trading for someone else if they thought they could make a playoff run with their current roster. Anyway, a torn retina sounds painful...hope for a fast and full recovery, even though it sounds like he'll be out for a minimum of 8 weeks.

Horrible luck to have two injuries to the same eye in a span of several months. He's likely out for the regular season. Suns could very well drop out of the playoff race too.

Yea, this is a huge blow for the Suns.

And we cant really blame Steve kerr for this matter I dont think.

He got some horrible offers for Amare and anyone would be really reluctant to get rid of Amare for some average youngsters and expiring contracts.

I mean the best offer he got was Tyrus Thomas I think.

People should not be so high on Thomas as this kid has no work ethics whatsoever.

And Amare is young enough and his contract expires in 2010.

Kerr has one more year to see what happens in the market.

Also, maybe Amare will change his mind and play for Gentry since Porter is gone.

Anything can happen this offseason and next season.

But I dont think Suns can beat out Jazz for the final roster spot.

Their bench is way too thin.
