For shooting, I would take Ray Allen over any Cavs player any day of the week - even if Ray has a bum knee, I'd still take him. He is one of, if not the best pure shooter to ever play the game.

Ilgauskas doesnt even get injured that often, people started talking all about him staying healthy and all this garbage like hes gilbert arenas or something, upo until this years ankle injury he has been healthy for a LONG time, the last time he left before this year was i think his wife miscarried and he took like a week or some off. Z is by no means an unstable player health wise. but his ankle is very fragile, its been repaired many times but everyone has their weaknesses and he doesnt hurt it that often. i dont think he should be worried about that much. Zs the man!! and way better than perkins too, without any doubt.

Ok, one game. Or I'll even say this season so far. The point is, he's still Delonte West. Ray Allen has played like that his whole career.

Clearly you missed my point. Never once was I comparing CAREERS. I simply said that Delonte isn't that far off of Ray Allen THIS YEAR. Watch some Cavs games, then tell me that he's nowhere near Ray. If he took as many shots as Ray does, he'd score the same amount of points. Go compare the numbers.

It isn't just one game. Like I said, if you watched any Cavs games you'd see that he is an amazing shooter. Ray Allen gets more shots and more points because they rely on him more than the Cavs rely on Delonte. I'm not saying that Delonte is as good, but he gets the job done fairly well and he could carry himself through out his career the same as Ray Allen has.

Im not sure how well West has been playing, as I don't really watch many Cavs games, but just Ray Allen's reputation will spread the floor more than any other normal player

Ray Allen also takes alot of off-balanced 3's, hands in face, being knocked to the ground, and he still sinks a high percentage of them. Not taking away anything from Delonte, but there is no way that they should be compared....it's like comparing Ben Gordon to Michael Jordan...

No one was comparing them. Hijack misinterpreted what I said to make it seem like I was saying Delonte is comparable to Ray Allen.
All I said was that Delonte isn't that far off of doing for the Cavs what Ray can do for the Celtics come Playoff time. But people don't realize it because Delonte isn't a name symbolized with making buckets like Ray Allen is.
