Anyone bought the new Topps Murad?
Just curious if anyone has busted this stuff yet? Looks pretty cool. Not sure on a value. And I know that Topps hasnt exactly delivered lately...but looks like a fun set to put together.

Looks like they're trying to work off the success they had with Topps Mayo football.
IMO they look way too tacky though. Too much stuff on the cards, at least from what I've seen on eBay.

Reminds me too much of Turkey Red. I wouldnt buy it.

I was very excited about this set at first but...
From what I've seen on epay I'm not feeling it entirely.
Some players look great, others not so much.
Turkey Red was way better IMO although they both poorly rely on 'band aids' for autos. :(

Those are based on the 1911 tobacco card set which contained the first basketball cards ever made. I have all seven of them.

I found this one for a BIN $79.99 on ebay. I like the way they look, although it was advertised as all the autos being "On Card." Yet, this picture clearly looks to be a sticker auto. Maybe just the mini "autos" are stickers. Who knows. But, I really like the way they look from an "artistic" perspective.
