    Cool Omg~~

Is it ME? Or are some Ebay sellers out of their MIND!!! I know that Skybox is a NEW product and all..but, I was checkin out the 'Ruby' parallels on Ebay..

    1) Derrick Rose Base Rc RUBY..guy had it up there $125 BIN or best offer...

    and even MORE.....

    2) 'Sinatraking'..has his up there..you get the BASE Skybox Derrick Rose rc..but, the RUBY parllel also..HECK ya...I'm gonna jump on that!!...>>> $200 buy it now..LMAO.

I've been noticing a HUGE trend of that on ebay lately. People will put a card up..with a SUPER OVER INFLATED BIN price...no bidding just BUY MY CARD NOW!!! I was actually talking to a seller at the show a couple weeks ago and he agreed. Some of the ebay sellers are hoping people won't notice that the SAME card has sold and is about to be sold for about 1/3 the buy it now price.
I mean..I saw a D.Rose SP Authentic up on Ebay RIGHT now..

    http://cgi.ebay.com/DERRICK-ROSE-09-UD-SP-Authentic-AUTO-PATCH-RC-1-299-1-1_W0QQitemZ320344325790QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_SM_Sp orts_Cards?hash=item320344325790&_trksid=p3286.c0. m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A131 8

SP Authentic Rc..sure it's a SWEET card..and YES it's #001/299 and YES it's his Jersey number..but...$2500!!!!!...oh..wait, I'm sorry.. $2499.00 . It's actually not even a very exciting PATCH.. bout 9/10ths BLACK..and couple small strips of white on each side.
And just below that are 2 much sweeter Sp Authentic 'PATCHES' on BIN...of which the sellers are ALSO out of their minds..but at least they're on the same PLANET as the rest of us.
    1) BIN $550..much sweeter one..3 colors
    2) BIN $299...only 2 colors..but..1/2 black 1/2 white.

Either of these are VERY tempting...but..what's up with that guy and his "$2499.00" card. Glad to see he has enough money to put up a bogus auction....or heck..maybe these days in THIS economy..there are still people with enough $$ to just dump $2,499.00 on a card you could bin now for only 1/5th the price...oh..but I DID forget to mention.. there WAS FREE SHIPPING..pfff..what the heck..I didn't need to eat this month..maybe I'll pick it up at that 'STEAL' of a price

i think alot of sellers hope its someone buying a gift or something and doesnt know the accurate value it can be had at, or the seller is incredibly naive

the listing fee of BUY IT NOW is the SAME for no matter $1 or $100000....

and they just wait for people to make OFFER....

this trend....have started for just more than a year... many reasons... one reason is... due to the excessive amount of cards produced... especially High end cards...make Everything getting cheaper and cheaper....

so that most sellers want to secure their items won't be sold for too low.... etc...
not willing to take risk to let people make bids... especially for the POOR econ now...
they just wait for some Die Hard fan who may still pay huge $....

And look at the boxes sales as well, Rarely seen they are up for bidding... most of them are up for BIN... especially for Exquisite, UD Black, etc...

^ That's one of the big reasons why BIN has popped up so much. I don't remember if it was last year or year and a half ago that ebay changed the listing fees so that BIN will be the same no matter what the price is.

The high price that sellers put on those are really ridiculous sometimes but a) they're hoping for a super collector who is rich and will bite b) looking for some sucker.

Personally, I enjoy putting my items on BIN rather than an auction, with reasonable pricing of course because a) I tend to get higher ending price with BIN b) some people buy on impulse c) guaranteed that you are getting the amount you want for your cards.

    Wink .......

I LIKE that.....OPM..lol. Yes..as long as the BIN price 'IS' reasonable..I'll buy anything. This past week I bought 2 items for BIN..Kobe UD Ledgends 'Ledgendary Jsys' $18 and Ben Wallace Genuine 'Genuine Insider' Patch/Jsy BIN..think $8-9. THAT'S reasonable. I even considered that one Derrick Rose at $299. but..my GOD..$2,499?? Well...I'm not saying it's WRONG..I mean, if you can get it...GET it, by all means. Either way..it was just a 'Soap Box Moment' for me.. . I tend to go off on rants like that once in awhile..lol

    Evan~~
