Where do you guys purchase frames for your autographed pieces?

    Hi Guys,

I have about 15 to 20 sports memorabilia autos that I'd like to frame. They are each 8x10's and I'll be using some nice double matting and 11x14 frames.

I'm looking for the best quality, bang for the buck frame out there that will look very nice, but not give that cheap feel ...

I've been considering frameusa.com ... specifically the wooden, corporate series in a black satin finish ...

Have any of you guys used them in the past, and if not ... who do you use?

    Thanks,
    TIM

I get all of my frames from Kohl's, it's a department store. Not sure if they have any stores around you area though. They already come with a mat and are ALWAYS on sale for like $10-12.

Kohls is a good idea, I never thought about them. They sometimes even have their frames cheaper than that.

If that doesn't work Michaels (Arts and Crafts Store) if you have one available generally has their frames on sale as well.

If you're looking to frame a jersey, I have bought some shadow boxes there and did them myself. I always wait when they're 50% off and pick one up for $40-$50.

I am still looking for a decent price on the frames for some jerseys but I have picked up the frames for 8x10s at Michaels. I have not checked it out but I was told that Wal-Mart has a decent selection of 8x10 frames fairly cheap.

    Thanks,
    Charlie

I don't know price you are looking at for framing your jerseys, but planet_frame on Ebay does a real nice job for $225-250 (which includes shipping). They will add an 8x10 photo, 2 cards, and an engraved plate for whatever player you send in to be framed. I have a framed Steve Young jersey from them and I constantly get compliments on it.

Michael's has some good sales on frames, but make sure you get some UV glass so those photos don't fade
