    Retail vs Hobby

Do retail only have a fraction of the amount of sigs and gu cards or can you pull all of them in the retail packs..

Specifically I am talking about UD masterpieces

Yeah, hobby is the way to go for auto/GU. Do you have some Masterpieces to trade? :)

Not yet looking to pick up a box right now....

The reason I asked is I found a box of retail which has 24 packs with 4 cards each for 39.99 shipped equals 96 cards

And the hobby box is 45 shipped but with 12 packs of 6 cards which is 72 cards....

If both can get the same cards I think I would go with retail box

There is also a case of SP authentic that contains the retail 7 packs plus bonus for 200...

If I could get the same hits out of those I might pick it up

You won't get the same hits in the retail man. You will probably just get the base cards and some inserts, and if your lucky, you might get some parallels and a GU. If you are looking for hits instead of the probable just base cards, you should pay the extra for the hobby boxes even though it is less cards. Also, I think you could find a retail of Masterpieces for cheaper than 39.99. If you search on ebay you could get a hobby box of Masterpieces for $45.00.
