Does anyone buy/sell on this site?

I became aware of the site a few months ago. I haven't sold anything, or even sent cards for listing. I do not plan to sell on the site either - I don't really have much to sell any way.

It is great for buyers looking for cheap RCs and lots. I have found a lot of cards I need on the site (RCs and a few GU). Another aspect I like - I do not have to pay shipping on each card (as opposed to eBay where I would have to pay $2-3 shipping for each card on average). Shipping is cumulative when you request a shipment of cards - although, I recommend requesting shipment after you buy at least somewhere from 5-10 cards to take better advantage of this. I have been able to buy a lot of cards cheaply, which I would not have been able to buy on eBay for the same amount of money: this is the best aspect about the site for me. At times, there may even be cards on the site which I have not seen on eBay in some time, so it is nice to find a card like that. They also take good care in shipping and packaging, which is always a plus. The listings show you book value, a nice touch for comparative and relative value reasons.

However, the site does not allow you to buy cards with funds directly from PayPal. You have to transfer a preset amount of money into "store credit" on the site to be able to purchase cards. This makes it difficult (at least for me) to come out spending what I put into it - there may be 10-20 cents or so left after my purchases, which irks me because I don't just want to leave the money there. The site also does not have as extensive a selection as eBay, obviously, and much less so for GUs and Autos.

Overall, I think the site is great for buyers not just looking for GUs and Autos - many cheap deals to be had. As an interesting side note, the site has grown every quarter since 2007 Q3 to 2008 Q4 in every following category: page views, cards listed, cards sold (nearly 60,000 as of 2008 Q4), total sellers, and almost 5,000 total accounts (they sent me a little business card with these stats in my recent shipment). I guess there must be something good about them, seems like they're doing well and growing.

It has the potential to be a great site, but like you said having to buy store credit to get stuff and the fact that if you do sell on ther you have to pay a fee to get your money is just retarded and doesnt make it worth the hassell. they need to re think their stratagies if they plan on existing for any great length of time

I think they'd do a lot better if you didn't have to transfer the money into site credit first. They're really stupid in that way.

I noticed you can cashout site credit but there's a fee.

I also just looked and you can buy things using a credit card or paypal. I don't think it needs to be store credit.

Yes, to sell cards on their site you send the cards in to them and they will scan the front and back of each card, look up the BV for each card (this is used to set your asking price, I generally start all shipments of cards at 65% off the high BV price and go down from there), and list the cards on their site in your account for sale. Then they keep the cards in their warehouse and whenever you sell a card they take care of shipping the card out to the buyer.

I discovered them a couple of weeks ago, and have already made one purchase of 20-30 cards very nice place to buy from. I used Paypal, no problem didn't need to add any store credit.

The store credit is for "instant purchase", so you can be insured of those cards being reserved for you right that second, without any sort of lag time to check credit, or for Paypal to get hung up. It is also for having the funds for the initial fees they charge when you send them cards.

I haven't sent them any cards to sell yet but I am preparing some them some.

I would buy from that site, but I wouldn't sell. I wouldn't want someone else holding onto my cards.
