    a SCF ROOKIE'S 1st ST TTM expections...

OK you SCF PROSPECTS, VETERANS, etc.,

What should a SCF 'ROOKIE' expectations be for ST TTM returns/successes?

Is this truly the best time to get MLB TTM successes??

This is my 1st ST to TTM, I'm caught-up in the hype, and I have a sent some TTM to the Brewers (and they've been out for a week now).

What is your experience with ST TTM versus during the MLB Season? (I'm not actually asking this in regards to Brewers ST TTM specifically)

its only my second Spring training to do TTM and I have found the Detroit Tigers to be very good at signing with a few exceptions
Best of luck and continued success with your TTM's

To be honest you get some odd returns in ST. I have had some guys sign who I have never had luck with during the season. I have already seen Prior sign c/o Padres this season already, when Robinson was MGR of Nationals your only chance was ST, Tony Perez signed ST last season for me. I have gotten a fair number of returns already, but as always some guys run really late. Jeff Kent always signed the previous years ST during the following ST? I do not know why. Chipper Jones sends a photo and your card back many months later to people who mail ST. It is a strange and fun time to mail as some players do slow up on autographing during the season.

THis is my first ST ttm as well. I have about 50 -100letters out 2 weeks now and havent seen a thing. Dont know if they all wait till the end or what. I hope I get some good ones back as the postage for 50-100 letters adds up. Last year was my last year in Phoenix and had some really good successes at the ANgels and Brewers.

Keep your chin up and if you just started keep writing. I was sending to some notorious bad signers at first and got frustrated. Then I found the recent successes area (which I urge you to do) and see who is signing. As others here have said, players get funny sometimes and go months or years without signing. I have moved since I sent out my first auto requests and probably will never see them again. (your forwarded mail only lasts so long)

THis place here gets addicting and you will prob find yourself on here most days for a few mins here and there. Just to see what is going on and soon, to post your big successes. The guys here are real nice and have not found anyone making fun of me for bragging about my David Doster IP success. In case you didnt know, he is a nobody for the Phillies but I met him and got his auto which made my day. I think everyone here has a few players like him that they like for one reason or another.

Have fun with this hobby and ALWAYS post your successes. You never know who may be looking for the same player and didnt have his addy or knew he was signing at the AT&T store in Kenosha, WI. I have found about 5 diff. people that live within 10 miles of my house and we share IP signings all the time.

SOrry this is long, but hope this helps.
