    NBA Cares and Cooks

During Allstar Weekend I was fortunate enough to go to an event called NBA Cares and Cooks. There were many legends of the game there, most of which i was able to meet.

    - Eddie Johnson
    - Tom Chambers
    - Dominique Wilkins
    - Lenny Wilkens
    - Jerome Williams
    - David Thompson
    - Sam Perkins
    - Jojo White
    - Alvan Adams
    - Spencer Haywood
    - Rick Barry
    - Lisa Leslie

There were some I was not able to get which I really wanted to. There were also some legends walking around and one of them i do not know who it was. I was hoping maybe you all could help me. I have nothing to offer but my gratitude if possible. Thanks all.

That's cool! Was this open to the public? This is the first time I've heard of this event. Do they allow outside items (like cards)?

Anyways, thanks for posting pics & the report. Great!

This is the first year it was held and it was a paid admission event. Tickets were 200$ a person. I was lucky enough to win 2 of them and take a date to it :). We didnt know what to expect so we had to purchase items there, as we came unprepared. She purchased a basketball and had them sign that. It was quite nice to see her get as excited as I was about the autographs though.

Great food there as well and free beverages. (free as in no cost after the tickets)

Thanks for the kind words folks.

EDIT: http://www.nba-caresandcooks.com/ <<< there site is poorly produced but it gives an idea of what was there.
