    Advice

    Hello.
I just in the past few years got into watching basketball.
I dont know much about players and who's good and who's not (i know the main guys, Kobe, Lebron, Shaq, So on)

Just wondering what is harder to collect in terms of prices and trying to make trades basketball, or football. I have alot of Football GU and auto's but no Basketball and im not wanting to try and start a basketball collection and get riped in trades because i dont know players and all that.

So what im trying to ask is
what would be a good safe way to try and start up a basketall collection without being taken advantage of.

Well you should always check recent sales on ebay to find the value of card. That would be the best thing to do to make sure you dont get ripped off.

start a thread for basketball trading and say you have football in return to trade. trade for what you like and look up bvs or ebay sale values. dont tell people youre new, that makes them want to take advantage depending on the perrson of course.

My main suggestion is to purchase the most recent Beckett Basketball, and look up the prices on the cards you have and the ones you're trading for. This way, you know the relative value of all the cards involved in the deal. Also, if you think a trade may be a little lopsided, post a thread in here. It's always good to get a second opinion.
