    Report: Gooden has sports hernia

    If true the injury would likely mean he's out for the regular season. Cavs and Spurs were the two teams with the most interest in him.

    If he needs surgery he's done for at least the rest of the regular season. I believe hernia timetable is usually around 6-8 weeks.

    He won't be signed by anyone now most likely. He'll probably be picked up in the offseason by some team for a veteran's minimum.
