It's good to hear that people have had success with them. As has been stated, I don't think I'd sell there, but I would buy since they accept PayPal.

Yes, to sell cards on their site you send the cards in to them and they will scan the front and back of each card, look up the BV for each card (this is used to set your asking price, I generally start all shipments of cards at 65% off the high BV price and go down from there), and list the cards on their site in your account for sale. Then they keep the cards in their warehouse and whenever you sell a card they take care of shipping the card out to the buyer.

i've been using them mostly for buying for my pc and set needs... i have about 80 cards collected and will probably ship when they get to around the 150 card point. I believe shipping is something like $3 flat + 25 cents a card with a maximum shipping of $25. They've had 2 shipping deals since i joined, one being on black friday (3-4 dollar flat rate shipping?? forgot exact rate) and one near christmas ($7 flat shipping).

For sellers, from what i heard, its been good for getting rid of inserts and higher priced base cards that would not normally sell on ebay. The forums on blowoutcards has a huge thread on this where many ppl have had success selling. I would sell if it wasnt so expensive to send cards to them from canada.

I love this site also...I think the big thing they have going for them is the shipping...You can sell alot of cheaper stuff on there that wouldn't sell on ebay...The only thing that sucks with them if you want to cash out your store credit they take 20%...I have not taking store credit yet and don't plan on it...I do alot if shows so I buy local stuff that I can sell around here..So I use for a trading site for the most part. Her are my stats I have been doing good consirdering the junk I have sold! The site is growing very fast...I joined 3 months ago I was seller #353 and now there is 420+

For selling, I don't really like it because it costs you to ship cards to them...then a 10 cent fee per card to process them and a 1 cent charge per card per month for storage!!! On top of that there is the 20% fee to cash out. After all this, are you really making anything??? (unless you are selling high $ cards)

As a buyer. I love it for low end singles and the ability to combine shipping.

If you are selling cards, the only shipping fee you pay for is whatever it cost you to send the shipment of cards to them. What I find works the best is to put your cards in the smaller 300-500 count boxes and then put those boxes inside a flat rate box with packing peanuts.

It's really not that bad if you really think about it. Look at it this way... Lets say you have a shipment of 500 cards to sale on their site. If you ship those cards in a flat rate box it's $10.35 to ship them to COMC which is roughly $0.02/card. Then you pay the $3.00 fee + the $0.10/card fee for them to process the cards. That means for a shipment of 500 cards you are paying them ~$0.13/card to list for sale on thier site. That's less than what Ebay charges you ($0.15/card) to list a card on their site PLUS with ebay you would have to take pictures of all 500 of those cards and list them one by one yourself. The $0.01/card storage doesn't hit until your cards have been listed on their site for 3 month's (from what I remember) and that fee only applies to cards that you have listed for sale for more than $0.25. Their cashout fees are slightly higher than what you would have to pay in final fees for ebay auctions but in my opinion it is WELL WORTH the extra few percent. With COMC I don't have to spend the time taking pictures/scans of the cards i'm selling, don't have to spend time listing items on ebay, don't have to make trips to the store to buy the 500 bubble mailers, don't have to go to the post office to ship out any of the 500 cards that I have sold, and if by some chance a card I sold gets lost in the mail and the buyer doesn't receive the card I do not have to deal with refunding them their money, tracking a card, etc... To me the small amount extra that COMC charges me is well worth it to not have to deal with all of that.

I think the most appealing aspect of selling on the site is precisely the greater possibility of selling cards that would not usually sell on eBay. If you have enough cards to sell to make it worth it, you might as well try the site instead of the likelihood of eating costs on eBay, or trying to trade most of them in the day and age of GUs and Autos.

I suppose in a more practical sense, you also clear out space because you send them all of the cards you put on sale, as opposed to having them sit on your desk gathering dust.
