    Time for a rant!

I made about 5 or 6 trades in the past month. After the first trade was confirmed by both parties, I received a PM from the member and he said that he didn't have a card from the trade we agreed upon. I asked him to replace it with a card that had a similar value, but it wasn't something that I really needed. Anyways, to make a long story short, I had another 2 members not send what was agreed to in the trade manager! At this point, I was a little angry, but here's what fueled the fire within me...

The very next trade I create, I ask the member (who is fairly new to trading) if he can double check to make sure if he has the cards that he agreed to trade to me. He PM's me back and says that he does have the cards. By the way, this member has under 20 feedback so he has to send first. A couple days later, I get a PM from him and he accuses me of listing the wrong version of an insert card. He has NO right of accusing me! It's his fault for claiming that he looked over (double-checked) the trade and had all the cards! I still have the PM of the insert cards he listed. In the PM, it's the exact same as the trade manager! I guess he just screwed up when he typed out his original list!

Holy crap! I feel like I'm at McDonald's and they can't get my d*mn order right!

I'm not calling anyone out, I'm just trying to let out some anger.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but...

When you confirm a trade, aren't you suppose to have the cards IN HAND?

That's what I've always done since 2006 when I joined the site. I thought it was a rule.

It's IMPOSSIBLE to complete a set when people send you cards you already have!

Alright, I'm done with my rant, lol.

Yes. Any member who does not have a card in hand is violating an SCF rule by agreeing to a trade with said card(s), and it needs to be reported.

I would file a dispute from trade manager from the particular trade so the same people can't keep getting away with that. they ABSOLUTELY must have the cards in hand before agreeing to trade them. We don't want people sticking around the site who can't follow the rules so please report it or file a dispute in trade manager.

yeah that's never happened to me but I would not like it at all If we already agreed on a trade, but later he says he doesn't have the cards we agreed on. I would definitely report it, those people shouldn't stay around if they can't check to see if they have a card before agreeing to trade it away!

Oh boy! i've been waiting on this one for days!

Yes this has happened to me and i've done this to someone, lets face it we all make mistakes, this has happened to everyone if you trade enough, but if i cant find the card, i make sure i make it up to the other trader a ton! i make sure that if it was a bv of 4-6 i send something better 10-12, even GU's or multiple GU's alot of times

Suprisingly i dont think i've had someone back out of a trade with me before, and i've had over 900 trades completed!

I'm not sure if I have ever left a card out or agreed to a trade without having all the cards...I don't think I've ever had to send replacements either.

Sorry to hear that Andrew...best thing to do would be to dispute it/them like others have said....
