    ebay win

now im sure this card will have no meaning to all of you and most of you will say $10 on that, why. now heres the story behind it all. as you know, im a pretty big jj redick collector, and there are a few cards that i've always been after, like his photoshoot auto, and his topps big game cards, but as of now this is the best card ive got of him. i just won it about 10 minutes ago and it is a jersey retirement card. it looks just like his topps rookie card, where hes wearing the duke jersey and shooting the jumper, but the difference is that this card on the front says
    #4 Retired 2/4/07
on the back where the # usually is (in this case 240) instead of being #'d its #'d JJ. see, the significance of this card is that it was only handed out at the duke game where jj got his jersey retired. most people at the game, well you know people who dont collect cards, its trash so that throw it out. then there were those who save these knowing the value of it. ive been tracking down one of these cards for nearly 2 years now, and one finally surfaced this week and i finally won it, for only $10. ive been on nearly 10 of these cards at different times, and i saw one go as high as $75, so to win one for 10 was pretty special for me. sorry i know this was a little long, but i needed to let you know why this is significant. heres the link:

    thanks

$10 for that?????? hah Nice win. Thats crazy about the card I wonder how many of these are actually still in existence as most people who received them at the game probably either discarded them, like you said, or are obviously Duke fans since they were at the game and are keeping the card.
