How about clearer pictures of the fighters? Actually including the autos people want? Typical Topps, take a great idea and flop on the execution. Topps should be bannded from making anything over $75 per box.

Clearer pics for sure, but some of the fight images were from so long ago, that may have been the best they could come up with. Individual fighter cards is a must for round 2. As far as the Auto's were concerned, like any product out there, there will be a few that are less desireable, but I personally thought the included fighters was sufficient. Don't get me wrong, I was disappointed with a pull like Matt Riddle in my box, but Diego and Couture Auto's more than made up for it.

like some said. ufc chrome would def. be a killer. how bout some auto cards of ufc legends. how bout a product of the fighters in "the next ufc fighter series"
emagine what a (pre ufc) card of forest griffin, rashad evans would bring. some patch autos too.
maybe they should release a product every so many months? i mean there is ufc pay per view at least once a month. make cards of ufc fighters who had fights earlier that year, fight used patch autos? some redemptions to see a ufc fight?

I don't like how there are so many parralel cards to artificially make the set bigger and make certain cards worth more, such as the thick cards (numbered and gold) and gold and red cards (for mat cards, top 10 fights, and victorious debuts). Also, i think the blue ink and red ink is also kinda lame. It's not so much that they are are parrallels but because there is so little difference between these cards that it does not warrant it.
Is this practice normal for sports cards these days? To be honest, it has been almost 20 years since i've last bought sports cards so I'm not used to this. I'm used to seeing insert cards that look a little more special then just a slight change of color or thickness on them.

I agree, they should have dual autos for epic fights. They should add a 'legends' insert set as well to include autos of Royce, The Shamrocks, etc.

The Upperdeck MMA set did have something like a legends set in it before it got cancelled.

Im just amped to hopefully see Jeremy Stephens and Josh Neer in the base set. They are both personal friends and it will be a huge thrill for them to be immortalized like that.
There NEEDS to be a Charles "Mask" Lewis card...
Would also be nice to see a Helio and Tanner tribute.

I also wouldnt mind seeing a "staredown" line...
Just to highlight some of the top fights. Everyone remembers some of the great fights by their staredowns. ie. Rampage vs Wandy.

To me the base cards looked rather dark. I would like to see them brightened up a bit.

A. Base set consisting of say 90 fighters that currently active, they are set by weight class.
B. A Legends Subset of 20 fighters, ie Severn, Shamrock, etc.(also can include the deceased)
C. Individual Autos. The fight concept would have been ok for an insert set but as an auto set its confusing. Individual Autos and then dual autos with the fight concept.
D. Get all the big names, past and present.
