card show
this is my first card show i have a question
what should i look for
do they sell cheap
anybody have any reports on these people when they went to a card shop: www.tcscc.org

most card shops dont sell cheap, they will sell bv on everything including base, i've never been to one that has done the opposite but others do have ones that have great deals

Yeah, you'll probably get a lot of dealers with wax that is marked up 10-20%. What I recommend is to print out the prices for products you want from dacardworld.com or blowoutcards.com and compare. You'll be shocked at the difference. The table dealers are betting on the fact that you want that instant gratification.
What I like about shows are all the vintage stuff and the contacts you'll make. Every once in a while you'll run across a great show that has that "gem" you've been looking for or that collector that's looking for the same stuff. I've made a lot of great friends at them. Good luck with it.

ohh i thought this said card shop. its card show..lol
Well the show i set up i love! theres alot of dealers that give great deals! .05, .10, .25, .50 cent bins $1 GU's/Autos, great deals! and the prices on hobby boxes are even greater than online!

Man, I'm living in the wrong area. I can never find deals on boxes. I'm willing to pay $5-$10 more to avoid delays and shipping costs, but the markups I see usually don't justify it.
