Back, after a long unexpected layoff....

Thought I would drop in to reintroduce myself. My name is Kris and this is my first visit back to the site since 12/19/07. I had some medical issues, that, had it not been for a doctor with no conscience, would have been medical non-issues, but such is life.

I am ready to start work on my Rangers and Senators collection again, this time with no interuptions other than my family, which has, and always will come first.

For those who don't know me, I am a father of three, a boy that will be nine in May and twin girls who will be seven in July. I am a die-hard Rangers fan and usually die hard with the teams record well before the All-Star break. I am a former full time police officer, but now I work in banking (not that glamorous these days) and work about 20 hours a month for the police department in the small town in which I live. I volunteer as a police officer to keep my license active and to keep my instructors certificate active as well.

The medical issues I had were based on the mis-diagnoses of a now out of this country doctor that caused me to lose a significant amount of my kidney function, required two surgeries that would not have been necessary had she (the doctor) got it right the first time, and now that she has lost her license to practice medicine here in the US, she has gone back to her home country of India where her medical license was uneffected. Unfortunately, for me, and several others, she is beyond the reach of any tort action we could seek against. her.

But anyways, enough of the whining, let's collect cards!!!!!

Totally sorry to hear about your ordeal with a doctor. As for collecting always glad to have you back and take care of the family. As you say they should always come first. Thanks for the reintro.
