This actually looks fun to open. I am glad to see some more nontraditional sets out there. I hope that one day they will make a set that has the topp stars of all the other sports that are not baseball, basketball, nascar, football and hockey in one box. Who would not love a set with the top three gymnasts, swimmers, BMX riders, UFC fighters, skiiers, bowlers, divers, drag racers, X game winners, soccer players and etc in one set? It would be amazing! Anyways loved the review and some of this issue of cards will find their way into my collection.

I was surprised at the prices myself, but I have been waiting for this product to come out as I have been a long time fan of the UFC. I broke down and found a box for $110, and was not disappointed. I was really hoping for a Rampage Jackson Auto (he has been my favorite for a long time, going back to his PRIDE days), but can't complain with a Randy Couture Auto! I also got a sweet camouflage patch of Forrest Griffin. Overall, I love what Topps has done, and I do hope to complete the Master Set, however these are a hard find around here. I also pulled a Matt Riddle Auto with a smiley face, and another of my favorites, an Auto of Diego Sanchez. In addition to the Griffin Patch, I also pulled a gold numbered mat of Anderson Silva, and a base mat of Keith Jardine. It was also nice to get a complete base set from 1 box. My local dealers here cannot get any more, and 3 of them couldn't get any!

Topps did an outstanding job with this product. Having Royce Gracie in there brought back all the old school memories for me.

I'd like to see Tank Abbott!

I wrote this on Beckett's site

I am somewhat disappointed in the quality of the pictures on the cards themselves but being this is their first attempt I think they did a decent job.I think when the card companies enter a new sport that it takes a bit of time to learn how to shoot good photos and I expect the Round 2 cards to look much much better.
