RANT: Set Building Skybox
So I was putting my Skybox (almost) completed base set into the 9-pocket pages when I noticed something somewhat stupid and insignifcant that really got under my skin...
All of the teams are listed in alphabetical order... except for the Oklahoma City Thunder, which are in the spot of the Seattle Supersonics alphabetically. Come on, really? This is a mid-season release that should have easily been updated.
I know its small, but it is just a simple lack of attention to detail by Upper Deck that can be construed as a lack of commitment... hopefully Panini will put in more effort next year...

What else would you expect from Upper Suck?

Doesn't really bother me about the alphabetical thing, although I can see how it can for some - it is in the same vein as players in different uniforms from trades and such.
Oooh I like that one, hadn't thought of it.

Yep, I see your point...
Add it to the long list of mistakes that 'ALL' the companies are guilty of.
Whoever was in charge of final design and execution/assembly should be ashamed.
Pray to the powers that be that these sames designers don't end up working at Panini.
Here are some of my rants.
1. Crappy photos.
They had 82 games worth of photography and they use some horrible photo of the guy panting up the court, eyes bulged out, all sweaty.
He never shot, dunked, or passed all season?!
How about a cool warm up photo?
2. Crappy themes.
Let's name a set 'Rim Rockers' or Slam Dunk' yet the photo is of the player doing a layup?!
I have one called 'Drive & Thrive' and the guys shooting the ball. :(
Not exactly 'driving'.
3. Mismatched swatches/patches
I've spoke on this before but, here we go again.
Why would you issue a Denver Nuggets card with a New Jersey patch on it?!!
Rashard Lewis/Orlando Magic cards with Sonics patches, come on guys.
Or, why is the gu swatch an away jersey yet in the photo its a home jersey?
I see this time and time again, player after player...
Sad!

I know it man!
And brand new 08/09 issue UD Premier is using Sixers patches on Nuggets cards for Iverson.

they gotta use up what stock they have left over i guess?
its cheap and scummy to collectors but thats why they do it...who cares about the collectors right?

Precisely...sad but oh so true!
They definitely haven't shown much consideration to us.
How do you do a high-end line like Exquisite and botch the patches so purposefully.
Like you say, they don't care...
They know they are the sole controllers of what is released and we'll either have to collect 'it' or nothing.
