Interesting Stat: Road Wins - Home Losses

I heard on tv an interesting stat. Subtract home losses from road wins. This comes up with a modified "best record" taking into account your schedule (# of home games vs. # of away games).

Cavs Home 28-1 Road 22-12
==> 22-1 = +21

Celtics H 26-6 R 23-9
==> 23-6 = +17

Lakers H 29-4 R 21-9
===> 21-4 = +17

Magic H 24-7 R 22-10
===> 22-7 = +15

It suggests the Cavs will have the best record at the end of the yr and are the "best" team right now, esp. because they have a lot of home games left.

Very interesting - can't say I've heard that before. But, it still isn't 100% accurate, as the Celtics have played 1 game more than the other 3, but is still a cool way to look at records! Thanks for sharing!
