Barack Obama Bowls a 129 & A Different take on the war
I know completely pointless but i feel proud to know i do something better than the President which is Bowling...
Now to the more important one, i've heard tons of people on here say that all the soliders really think we should be at war and everything, well on the "Real World Brooklyn" There is one guy who is active in the war, was to report back to Iraq in Feburary, now he says he thinks its pointless to be there, and yes he was in the War, he was in combat and really was fighting in it, i just think its a reality check and that Veterans who have been in Iraq DO think its pointless as do I

Wow, you base your opinion off of one guy from "the real word"?? Thats sad.
I was there, and theres reasons we should be there. Now its 1-1.

No i did not base it off one guy, i am saying not EVERYONE thinks we should be in the War as everyone is saying...

who is everyone? I have talked to people on both sides... if you look at the real world though he also says he will obey his commander and go without saying anything even though he disagrees with it.

Of course nto everyone feels the same way, but dont base the opinions of Veterans off of THE REAL WORLD, its not very "Real" at all. Of course he isnt happy, its interupting his time on a TV show

gladdy- no one ever said "every" soldier felt any way. it is dumb to assert that "every" member of any group feels the same, because it won't happen. For you to start a new thread because you saw a show in which one guy said he thought it was not worth it is interesting to me. Much less from a show like "the real world" on a television station who does not hide it's political loyalties.

the Veterans as a whole, i'm saying not all of them feel a certain way about the situation of Iraq
i'm not basing my opinions off of that, my opinion was we shouldnt be in Iraq in the first place, i just cant stand when i hear people say all Veterans feel we should be in Iraq wasting trillions of dollars and crushing the economy even further than we have already...
and you say its interrupting, its not, because the time he was on the show goes until December, in reality it didnt interupt, i think that is very single minded to think that way

in actuallity i made the thread for Obama's terrible Bowling skills..lol
this just came to mind while i was posting...
and i have heard members, (dont remember who) saying all soliders feel the same way, yes its not true, but i think its a 60-40 65-35 split on the war in Iraq for soliders involved
