1949 Leaf
I have admired these cards since I started going to my first card shows in the early 80s. The bright colors really stand out and the Jackie Robinson card is one of the earliest cards to make an impact on me.
Originally I was trying to just pick up a single card, as I try to get a decent single card of every vintage series I can find, even if I don't actively collect the series (just to have one example). After much thought, though, I have decided to collect this set, albeit very, very slowly due to cost. Picked up a nicely centered Lou Boudreau as my first card in this set.
Realistically, I may never be able to finish this set due to the high cost of the short prints and the overall high cost of some of the cards (like the Paige rookie), but I'll collect as many as I can.

Do you have a want list to post on here for 1949 Leaf? I'm just trying to clean up this forum. LMK if you are no longer trying to complete the 1949 Leaf set
