Walker may have been an Allstar.....

but so was Wally Szcerbiack (sic) of the Timberwolves, and every time play-offs rolled around, he disappeared. Check out his playoffs stats

All Star don't mean sh*t if that's all you can say as a player.

    Think of it this way:

Magic was an All star, but he was an MVP, won the title in his rookie season, was MVP of NCAA, etc etc

Michael Jordan -- we all know his resume

And now Antoine Walker --- All Star selection

lololololol....that's all you can say. Walker also played horribly last year's play-offs as well. yes, he may have been hurt this year, and that affected his play, but he sucked the previous year, and he wasn't hurt then.

Superstars need no one to give excuses for them

    Jerry Rice
    Mario Lemiuex
    Barry Bonds

The minute you give excuses, perhaps ya ought to think the player really isn't that good

I think you nailed the point of getting Walker.

Walker puts the Raptors in the playoffs.

And as seen with other East teams all you have do to is get into the playoffs and anything can happen.

I kinda doubt the Raptors will get anybody with the #4 pick that will help them.

The only problem with Walker is he can't do squat in the playoffs and has a pretty big contract ( or is looking to get one, can't remember which).

Peter, especially since I've been hearing that Toronto would take Bosh or Ford with the 4th pick... neither makes any sense to me and both are heavy risks!

I think they should trade their pick. It seems like this year, any pick other than the top three carries some risk.
