New to Trading
Hi, my name is Michael Palmer and I've been collecting for over 33 years but I've never been in the trading game. I was huge into collecting Cal Ripken Jr. cards and probably have several hundred Ripken cards. What's got me into collecting lately is Alexander Ovechkin and the surging Capitals. With Ovechkin, Backstrom, Semin, and Mike Green all emerging and young, I've been buying lots of boxes from their rookie years. I've also been buying the blaster boxes from Target and Walmart, and recently pulled an Adrian Peterson Score Inscriptions which I'm told only 11 exist. I haven't had much luck pulling any Ovechkin RC, so I definitely want to trade what I have pulled, including the Peterson, a Messier Letter Marks, and several RC from UD Hockey like Jeff Carter. I'll have to put together a list of what I want to get rid of. I definitely like opening the boxes instead of buying the RC off of Ebay, but my luck has been terrible. I apologize in advance for any newbie mistakes. I'm happy to see a site dedicated to sports card collecting.
