your #1 seeds as of tonight
going into the final day of championship tomorrow, who are now the four #1 seeds? if you understand what i mean by rank them in order, like #1 1 seed #2 1 seed etc. please do that.
my #1 1: Louisville-theyve proven to much in these last few weeks and then winning the big east against an exhausted syracuse is enough for me
my #2 1: Memphis-as much as i dont want to see it happen, theyve got it clinched now with both unc and mich st losing today...
my #3 1: UCONN-you cant say that the game they lost can really drop them. honestly now, to drop them from a #1 seed after dropping a 6 ot game isnt really fair...
my #4 1: Duke/UNC-as of right now i gotta go with duke if they win the acc, most of you wont understand it, but theyve just proven that they deserve it. if duke loses though, i gotta go with unc because i really only think they lost today because of lawson not in the lineup.
lets hear what you guys got

No way Duke gets a #1, and there's no way Pitt doesn't get a #1.
Louisville/Pitt/Memphis/UNC are my four #1's.

k well maybe you didnt see duke absolutely dismantle teams like purdue or xavier. granted they did lose a few games that they really shouldnt have (BC and Wake) and granted that clemson game was pure awful, but even on espn this morning, i think it was joe lunardi that said if duke won the acc tourney theres a possibility they get a #1. now im not completely aware with pitt here, but please remind, was it Providence, West Virginia, and Louisville i believe? thats two losses against unranked teams... look at duke in all their losses this season, look at who theyve lost too. UNC 2 times, but theyve been #1 for the most weeks this year, Wake who spent a week at #1, michigan who spent a good few weeks in the top 25, clemson who was a top 10 team at the time, and bc who was in the top 25 after they beat who? i believe it was UNC. if you look at duke, all the losses theyve had were to teams that they very likely could have and should have lost too. every single pitt loss this year (maybe not louisville) is too teams they should have beaten, easily. unc has consistently shown that whenever they play a dominant guard, they cant handle themselves (rice, teague, vasquez, douglas). lets compare duke with those games. hmmm lost to bc once but beat them yesterday, lost to wake on a last second breakdown, but beat them up at home, slaughtered maryland the first time, and outplayed them down the stretch in the last two, and had a come from behind win on florida state. plus lets look at one more factor. lets see, michigan loss, at michigan. wake loss, at wake. clemson loss, at clemson. unc loss 1, @ duke. bc loss, @ bc. unc loss 2, @ unc. now this is just personal opinion, but pretty sure the acc is thee most brutal conference to play in crowd wise, with the big east not far behind. this makes road game MUCH, and i mean MUCH tougher. so look at the facts, one loss at home, 4 losses away from home, undefeated on neutral courts, and in the toughest conference in college basketball. i'll let my points speak for themselves...

You really didn't make good points. They had SIX losses. Regardless of who they lost to. Oh, and the Big East is a MUCH better, tougher, and deeper conference than the ACC.
You lost to Michigan, who probably won't even make the dance.
Duke should be a #1 seed over Pitt? Pitt plays in a tougher conference and has two less regular season losses. Nope.
Duke should be a #1 seed over UNC? UNC beat them twice, and only lost half the games Duke did. Nope.
Duke should be a #1 seed over Memphis? We already know that won't happen.
Duke should be a #1 seed over Louisville? The Big East Champs? No way.
Duke should be a #1 seed over UConn? Who not only had two less regular season losses, but half of those came to Pitt.
There isn't a snowballs chance in **** that Duke is a #1.

unc loses to unranked bc at HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! loses to unranked maryland where they had a 7? or 9? point lead with 1:30 to go and blew it while giving up 33 or 35 points, 11 assists i think, and 10 rebounds to greivis vasquez. unc loses to wake forest where jeff teague explodes for i think 30 some points. lose to florida state giving up i think 27 to toney douglas. unc beats duke at home in the final minute while giving up 26 to scheyer on 7-7 shooting from the field. beat florida state at home from a last second running three by lawson where once again toney douglas dominates them. its no secret that unc's perimeter defense flat out sucks... any close game they have, or any game they lose, its because of perimeter defense. they better hope they dont get matched up with some team early in the tourney with some team that has a superb guard, cuz just by one player they can get beat. even with lawson healthy, they have a hard enough time...
