A Personal Update
As some of you are aware, I decided last year to change careers, go back to school, and pursue a career in the culinary arts. Well, I am now in my last 2 weeks of classroom and shortly after that I start my internship at a resort on the gulf coast. Needless to say, I will not be taking cards with me so I dont know how much, if any, I will be around to trade etc. The internship is through the end of June and depending if they want to hire me or not will depend on when I will be able to be active. Based on the dorm-like housing situation down there, I just don't know how secure my computer will be. So I might not even have internet access for awhile depending.

I did not know this, must have missed the information while I was away. So I must say, I am jealous, first of all. If there wasn't so much tying me down, I would be doing the same (which school?). Live my dream Carl!

I attend Culinard in Birmingham, AL - They have a fast track program that lasts 36 weeks. Will end up finishing my AA online with them down the road.
Will be working at the Grand Hotel Point Clear Resort and Spa in Fairhope, AL which is a Marriott Franchise. It is on the east side of Mobile Bay and close to the Gulf of Mexico.
Info went down last summer which was why I was pretty absent in the trading scene there for awhile....

Well I wish you much luck with your new career. I looked into the ICS at the Art Institute in Raleigh but I will probably never convince my wife to move away from her family and hometown. Until then I guess I will continue to pick up tidbits from my teachers on the Food Network.
