Really too bad - I read that it was a random shooting, so that basically throws out the theory about him being related to the gang somehow. Sounds like it's really minor, as he was only in the hospital for a few hours.

Wow you're a Stereotype. Actually Landry is not involved with Gangs or anything.. The side of town he was in is really bad which is the EAST side of houston..

Pierce came from Inglewood, CA. One of the biggest gang infested areas in the country. His recruitment was highly scrutinized by alot of teams, questioning Kansas,in how they could recruit a kid like that. But his is a story of success. It got him out, and he is in a better place.

I wasnt referring specifically to Landry. But a percentage of NBA players as a whole. If they walk like a duck, and talk like a duck, chances are...they're a duck. (Unless that duck is really good at basketball. Then it doesnt have to live the thug life anymore, and can roll around in their Benz on 24's and smoke all the dope they want to in the comfort of their own mansion) But in the end......they are what they are. You can take the duck out of the ghetto, but you cant take the ghetto out the duck.

Landry grew up in Milwaukee and not in the 'ghetto' part of Milwaukee. He isn't a thug and his family aren't thugs either. He stayed in college to earn a degree, just as his brother is going at Wisconsin.

Lets see, Austin Croshere was born in Los Angeles, went to high school in Los Angeles too. You wouldn't say he'd be a thug if it weren't for basketball because he's white.

Soooooo what exactly are you referring to when you say where would he be??? You most certainly aren't referring to Landy using his Business degree he got at Purdue. You are referring to him being on the streets and being involved in gang related activities.
