Official Celtics @ Bulls thread
Funny how the Celtics (Irish mascot) are playing the Bulls in Chicago, where they have a huge St. Patrick's Day celebration, including dying the river green, on St. Patrick's Day! lol
Close game - Celtics were down by 8 or 10 in the 2nd, but now they lead 55-54 at halftime. Rondo, who can't shoot, is 6/9 with 17 points, and has dished 6 assists.

Celtics up by 11 with 6 minutes left in the 3rd. Rondo has 17, Ray-Ray and Pierce each with 16, and Mikki Moore has 10 boards off the bench.

Its a great game but god i hate these green unis for the bulls, they confuse me to no end!

I find it so funny how you make sure that you point out that Rondo can't shoot whenever he has more than 15 points in a game, lol.
BTW, he can't shoot. He can make layups. Not too difficult.

rondo's mid range jumper is getting better and he finishes well around the basket. hes not meant to be a shooter in their offense. he keeps the defense honest. by the way, bill walker doesnt make a bad power forward does he?

Agreed....but I hate when people say Rondo "can shoot." No, he can't. He can't make threes, he can't make free throws, and his mid-range really isn't that good. His FG% is high because most of his makes are from within three feet of the basket.
Oh, and Bill Walker = The Future.

He is not an outside shooter by any means, but his mid range game is getting better. He's been hitting tonight. He does make a lot of inside shots, thats his game. I'm hoping Walker has a hot streak so I can sell off my RC Letter Auto :]

Please, Rondo is a decent shooter. Sure, he gets alot of layups, but he hits shots too. No, he's not a threat from downtown, but neither are Jason Kidd or Tony Parker.

As much as I love Rondo, Parker and definetely Kidd are bigger outside threats than Rajon. His mid range game keeps the defense honest, it is respectable nad improving. If he can just be a little mroe consistent with it...

Not saying they aren't good outside threats - that's just not their primary shot.
Anyway, Rondo has 24/5/10.
