    Scanner Advice

Hey guys just been reading through some threads on the net on which scanners are good for picking up stamped numbers/refractors colours aswell as being nice and sharp for cards and it seems the HP scanners are the shiz.

Now im looking at a HP Scanjet sj4050

Is this the best option or are there cheaper HP scanners that can give the same results (ie: bring out the nice colours of refractors etc)?
Im mainly only after the scanner for cards nothing else.

    All imput appreciated

    Nick

I use a Canon MX300 and find it great for giving nice sharp colors, and is great for refractors and stuff...can pick them up pretty cheap, i think i paid $65 for mine at K-Mart (i noticed you were australian) and Big W has them cheap too
