they said it was a new ottawa rookie record. i wonder what the nhl record is?
he wasn't his very best tonight but he kept them in it and did enough to win!

LOL! its funny though how elliott has changed the team. before you guys were in the race for hedman/tavares. now you're talking playoffs. elliott has really helped the team (and the new coach)

haha it would still take a miracle for playoffs! if they were in the west they would only be about 5 points out but the east is tough.
i would imagine they will end up about 8-10 in the draft still not a horrible spot to be and this good finish can only build confidence for next year.

:D was a good night. yes it's a record, Hurme and Emery both had 6. ACCORDING to wikipedia (which im not inclind to believe) Brian Elliott has the nhl record with 7.

Montreal is absolutely brutal, but nonetheless cool accomplishment for Elliott, congrats.

Elliott's broken the Senators team record for most consecutive wins by a rookie (currently 7). As for his play, you can tell he's a rookie, every game he seems to let in the occasional weak goal. Nevertheless, he is playing fairly solid and the team is play MUCH better in front of him than they did in front of Gerber at the start of the year.
