another eBay steal ?!?!?!?!
I've already got this one, but I just can't see any low #'d DN's going into anyone else's collection or hands at all. Just a gut feeling I guess, lol:

Dave,
No offense dude, how can you call a card a steal when its 70+ dollars a peice.. Dayne is just as uncommon if not a bit more popular because of being a Badger.
Its a great card dont get me wrong on that.. But the price really isnt a steal

Jay - Thank you. I'm glad somebody opposes me on this, lol. I've only seen (when I've actively been searching eBay) 2 of the '00 SPx Spectrum's (the other one is already in my collection). I just wanted to show all what I'm willing to spend if they'd get their DN's out of the closet.
As for Dayne, but, he really hasn't done too much (to this point) to help the Giants out. DN has energized the team and helped carry them to the playoff's in '02. He's just my fav. player (as you like the Badgers players). I'm willing to go that extra mile or so to get a card that I'd value highly for my collection.
Just my $0.0182 rambling's.

I dont blame ya but how many people say that DN has actually been a star player.. sure hes played but when they ask to name the players on that team Im sure the general fan not from the area wont say DN that often is all im saying... Not to say this year wont be a break out year and all but who knows for either player.. Rumor has it Thunder and lightning are comming back too :D

Jay - :D This is what I'm talking about, lol. I watched DN in college all 3 of the years he was actually playing a lot and then a ton (most every game, NFL Ticket, God Bless it, lol) in the NFL. If I collected a player on popularity, then I'd seriously be broke. I collect for talent and my personal preference. Just like you w/Fletcher and Bollinger, lol. I don't think they'll be off to Hawai'i anytime soon in Feburary, unless they are going w/their family's. And, I'm not in AZ or Ohio, I'm in Minnesota, about an hour and a half north of Duluth (in the BWCAW). AND, I hate the ViQueens, just to set the record straight, lol

Thats the same thing with me Dave... I grew up watching dayne haul the Big 10 and set the new rushing recored.. Got to pounce on a nice collection that was given up and work my way from there

in my madden 2004 I have DN on my raiders team and he is the leading reciever and second in the running for MVP, he also has 4 Punt Returns for TD's. GO NORTHCUTT!!!

I would love to find a Prentice Spectrum, but I have only seen one that I can remember on Ebay :( but I would be hard pressed to pay that amount for it, unless it was the very last Prentice I needed to close up my collection.
My worry would be the feedback of the seller. Personally, if I see a feedback of lower than 99% I go check all the negs out to see what they are for, and if any are for non delivery of item i leave that auction alone.
I sure hope you get your card Dave, it is a nice one!
On a side note....how much is it for NFL Season ticket? I have wanted to get it but am afraid I would keel over if I really did find out how much it is...I promise I will not keel over if you tell me here...LOL

BTW...LOL Cowboy.....I am still stuck in the stone ages as far as video games are concerned. I only have a Super Nintendo, but I play Tecmo SB III all the time :)

Rima - I had a nice long typed out reply to your post, but then the internet boxes just closed up.....Believe me, I was steamed. It depends when you purchase Sunday Ticket. It can be $170 (I think) if purchased in very early August. $200 right b4 the season.
I love Tecmo Bowl III as well. I usually get 4 ok backs (Means, Bam, Ironhead & Barry or Bettis) and get them 2000 yds. rushing each. If I only had a couple controller's that worked for my SNES now :(
