It's back down to $60,900.23
This is beyond ridiculous and I cannot believe that the buyer would actually follow through.
You could get a 1/1 autograph each of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Albert Einstein for way less. For crying out loud, this is for a piece of material from a jersey a guy wore who does nothing more than throw a ball through a hoop!
Thank you I had thought this world had gone crazy because I seriously don't get why its so high.
The card is 1/1....so what?
They probably made a couple hundred combinations with Jordan/this guy, Kobe/this guy, and Lebron/this guy.
1/1 cards went out the window when they started making hundreds of them.
Then the card isn't even autographed or anything. And it just has that crappy NBA logo on it. You can't even tell its from their jersey because ALL THE NBA LOGOS LOOK THE SAME.
I wouldn't have thought the card could have brought $1000 on eBay by looking at it.
For that kind of money you can get (according to Beckett sales tracking)
1/1 Ty Cobb/Babe Ruth dual cut autograph card $18,000
1/1 Lou Gehrig cut autograph card $7,100
8/8 Mickey Mantle cut autograph $5,200
Those 3 cards would only total you HALF OF WHAT THIS card is going for on eBay.
I find those 3 cards a tad bit expensive but at least you will have autographs of 4 of the greatest baseball players ever rather than some cut up jersey you'll have with this card.Selling all my cards here updated as of May------------> Hidden Content

hey it makes sense to me. It's over 61 grand and probably gonna reach 70 so it it's only logical that it brings more than this.

so which would you rather have?

that inventory is awesome i would buy the store 1 card or the store with over 3,000,000 cards hmmm, tough choice, some poor soul will wake up and realize he spent his house note on a rapist and a future star that might never be ,stop the insanity the only way i want to see a single card sell for that much is if it is 1 of mine ,sorry if i offended anybody with the rapist comment just thought it might be a way to actually show how senseless this type of spending on one card is ,take care spuds

Too be honest the price of the card is ridiculous. Yes we all can list off over a billion possible ways to better spend 60 grand.
But we have to realize the people who bid on this card (and the Jordan/kobe version)... Are extremely wealthy.
In the cards defense, it is the best available item out of a history making product . Casual, and serious collectors alike all know about this card and how much its worth. If your some millionaire that collects cards... what better way to claim the title of our hobbies top collector?
If spending 60 grand ment nothing to me like the people who bid/won these cards, i would buy it. Because i love the hobby, and your basically taking the thrown of king of all collectors.
anyways just my opinion. G'day all
