    I just cant figure out collecting basketball. I mean, how do you get hyped up for a player that played high school ball, then jumps to the NBA? It takes 3 yrs. for him to get good or maybe someone like carmelo anthony. He went to Syracuse, (which by the way I like) and then leaves after 1 year! Yes, they did win a championship in that year but it wasnt enough time to fall in love with the guy! I cant tell you more than 3 people that are playing for the Sixers now (again, my team)

    Its boring, a me first mentality, and just plain UNWATCHABLE!!!

    Its baseball and football for me. I mainly collect baseball but dabble in Eagles cards, and try to make a topps set every so often.

    Good luck to you guys that collect year round, I need the baseball off season to reflect, re focus, and retool my collection for Spring Training!
