does it happen often that an artist will send you an autograph without sending you an email reply?
sorry for using your thread for asking a question AJM, but didn't want to make a new one for one simple questionLast edited by polamalu43favre04; 04-18-2009 at 01:54 PM.

I've had a lot of luck with email requests.

Off the top of my head I can think of Jameer Nelson, K-Mart, Brandon Webb, James Harrison and Shawn Johnson

Some will email you back but the majority of them dont email you back. Usually if they do email you back its to ask for a SASE or they thank you for writing to them and to say your pic is on the way.

Ok cool, thanks!
so the fact that I haven't got alot of replies is a good sign
The only one who replied was Ed Hochuli and he asked me if I wanted a pic with Brett Favre or of him alone... what a cool guy!

I emailed Ed and got a responce in a few hours. He is such a classy guy I really enjoyed hearing back from him on what he had to say.
Who have you guys heard back from?

Not every email you send out will get you back a pic either id say my success rate is about 60% after 4 to 6 months most i sent out between that time. I seen to have better luck with in season coaches. It seems to me the actresses and actors also send out the most preprints too. Thats my opinion on email successes

Be sure to keep an eye on the email success threads. I have been amazed of some of the people who do sign via email. I'm personally posting two more coaches today!
