Four Wings could net 30-goal seasons
BY GEORGE SIPPLE
ATLANTA -- The Red Wings are on the verge of having four 30-goal scorers for the first time since the 2001-02 season.
Johan Franzen scored his 30th on Friday. He had a goal and two assists in a 6-3 victory over the Thrashers. He joins Marian Hossa, who leads the Wings with 36 goals.

I do think the Flyers are under-rated : we never talk about them but they are 4th in the east and like Duwal mentionned , they could have 5 30-goal scorers even if Briere missed almost the entire season...Pretty impressive to see the depth they have in front.

Brodeur fan, thanks for the recognition.
Last nights win against you guys was huge for our confidence, but I still think the Devils will win it all in the East.
While we have amazing scoring depth, a few of our defenders are questionable. Ryan Parent is getting a lot of praise lately, but Timmonen makes him look like a star. Parent is great without the puck, with the puck there are quite a few cough ups. Matt Carle has been solid offensively, but defensively Braden Coburn has had to pick up some slack. If the Flyers are going to beat the Devils, Caps, Bruins, or Pens to make it to the finals those defensive players need to pick it up a notch, and Biron has to continue his strong play.
I see the flyers as the biggest offensive threat in the East. Along with 5 players who may hit 30 goals, Lupol may finish the year close to 25, while Claude Giroux and Danny Briere are picking it up heavily.
