Interesting.
I have never seen a logoman not designated or inserted into a large print run of memorabilia as well. However, it is flawed reasoning to dismiss something just based on a low probability. It is possible Upper Deck during the cutting process botches a few logomans and inserts the botched one's randomly into the production run. Anyone have a similar card from Exquisite? Are the easy to manipulate? The card in question does not have any scratches or marks indicating a replaced jersey piece. Usually there is some type of damage to the card when this happens. Also logomans are pretty much only known to avid collectors in the hobby. Considering the only people seriously interested in logomans would have extensive knowledge in the hobby, it would be really stupid to botch a perfectly awesome RC knowing the people interested are aware of how logomans usually appear. Considering the Sellers feedback, it does seem like he or she would not make this mistake.
That being said, yes, it most definitely could be a fake. No question. The only way to find out is to contact upper deck. Link the auction or a scan of the card and ask them directly if this is indeed an altered card.

I've seen a few different patches that had pieces of the NBA logo, like this one. Its not a fake, it just happens that the piece of jersey they used for that card had the NBA logo on it. There are some great cards I've seen that had pieces of Tags, Logos, etc. If the whole jersey is being cut up and put into cards the logo has to end up somewhere.

i think it's real....the exquisite cards are condition sensitive to begin with...if this card was altered you'd be able to see some kind of imperfections with it

Contacted UD and the card is diffinatly a fake. I have several letters from UD for replacements and they dont specify what kind of patch is on the card, just the type of card it is and who. So the letter from him is no proof unless it specifies that the card has a piece of logoman. Fake

Upper Deck has NEVER EVER put a logoman in a card that isn't supposed to have one. This card is fake.
