It has hardly been an ideal year for the Raptors, and now this..

Pains me to read that. I have a lot of respect for Bosh as a person and athlete. We've all been humored by his videos and entertained by his on court play. I hope this story isn't true. As a man, you don't leave a pregnant woman like that.

There's gotta be something more to it....

Would you really get rid of a guy who is HANDS DOWN your best player because of a child support case?

I agree with not leaving your girl like that, but this has nothing to do with his basketball career and i wish they would stay out of the players personal life. If he did some thing in basketball that should be known ok but not this.

This is his personal life - why does the media have to bring it to the public's attention? This is why I never want to be famous.

You're right. We should leave the personal lives of players alone. But they are looked upon as role models...even if they don't want to be one.

As for Toronto...it would be stupid to trade him because of a personal issue. I believe Bosh's contract is up in 2010 so this may be an excuse to trade him away before then.

Yeah, they are looked at as role models, and I understand and support that...I just don't think that his relationship issues should be made a news event...I totally understand it for on-court activities, and for some off-court activities - but, this is just too deep into his personal life IMO.

Yeah, I am not really sure why Toronto is making this into a basketball issue. I can understand wanting your players to be spotless and stuff, but fielding a team with professional athletes..well, good luck with that.

This makes me sick. I know it's his personal life, but at the same time this is something I can't ignore. He needs to step up and be a man.
