Carlos Boozer files for divorce
MIAMI (AP)—Utah Jazz forward Carlos Boozer has filed for divorce in Miami from his wife of more than six years.
Court documents filed Thursday call the marriage between Boozer and his wife, Cindy, “irretrievably broken.” Boozer says the couple’s home in Miami is for sale. The Jazz star also wants rights to a second home they own in Salt Lake City.
The couple has twin 19-month-olds and a 2-year-old child. Boozer seeks shared child custody and is willing to pay child support.

That's too bad - at least it sounds like he is willing to help out, by paying child support, as well as having joint-custody. Hope everything works out as well as a divorce can for both of them.

That's sad...

Not surprised..I read an interview of him in ESPN the Magazine awhile back where he described her as argumentative.
I hope he gets joint custody - I dislike how laws make it much harder for divorced fathers in most circumstances to spend time with their children. I am in a happy two-parent home, but I've seen others who aren't, and I think children should be able to spend time with both parents unless one is abusive.

Oh man this is sad. I hope they don't force him to pay a lot of money for child support. Just a reasonable amount
