    DALLAS (AP)—Dallas Mavericks forward Devean George had arthroscopic surgery to remove loose fragments from a cartilage injury in his right knee.

    They'll need him if they wish to have a shot at beating the Lakers, Spurs or Rockets in the playoffs. He'll probably be out 2-3 weeks...at least that's my guess.
