    New Memorabilia Collector

    Hey all, I am from the Las Vegas area and just joined the forum. I still collect cards here and there (mainly basketball), but sports memorabilia is my true love. Been collecting it for about 5 years now and have put together a decent collection. I am a big fan of the Dodgers, Lakers, Jazz, 49'ers, and MMA (mixed-martial arts). My favorite atheltes include Steve Young, Karl Malone/John Stockton, Kobe, Lebron, Peyton Manning, Chuck Liddell, and Randy Couture.

    Some of my favorite pieces in my PC include: Framed Steve Young Jersey, Michael Jordan's Final Floor, Hershiser/Gibson 88 World Series Dual Photo, Kobe Jersey Archive, and Peyton Manning SBXLI collage (see pics below).

    My goal is to get to some of the big collectors shows someday (GTSM, Tri-Star, etc) and get some pictures with my favorite athletes.

    WOW! That whole collection you showed off is Awesome! I am in awe honestly!

    Well, welcome to SCF, and I hope you can find some good additions to your collection on here. There are so many traders, and there are higher end traders in the individual sports sections. There is also a memorabilia section which I don't visit much as I don't collect a ton, but if it is anything like the rest of the site, you will be happy you visited there.

    I'm not a huge Jordan fan, but I was amazed by how he single-handedly beat my Jazz in the 97 & 98 Finals--esp in 98 when he stole the ball from Malone to finish off that game and the series. This is one of my favorite pieces as it is an actual section of the Delta Center floor from Jordan's final game as a Bull--really a piece of NBA history that I couldn't pass up.

    Welcome to SCF! Glad you decided to join the site. This is the best place to trade cards, talk about em, or just meet new people. Those are some GREAT looking items. Gotta love Manny staying with the Dodgers, I've been a Manny fan since his Boston days and I'm still a fan. He is a character, but dang he can play.
