    Shipping Video Games

I was thinking about trying to sell a couple of my games on here, but I am not sure what I would buy to ship them in. Can anyone help me with this? I would also like to know what they usually run and how much it usually cost to ship a single game. Any help would be much appreciaited because game stores won't hardly give you anything for games anymore unless you beat them the night they come out and you bring them in the next day.

6x9 padded bubble mailers - DVD cases fit in them, and PS2 cases are the same size (as I'm sure Xbox, Wii, PS3, etc are as well).

Mailers cost anywhere from $1 each to 100 for $30 or so. They cost around $2, depending on weight, to mail via USPS First Class Mail, or you can ship it Media Mail for $2.23 for up to 1 lb.

yep and yep with what Nathan has said.

If you plan on shipping one game though, you are best off to ship first class. its just a few cents cheaper.

And, to add on to what I said before, if you are going to ship more than one game, buy a larger bubble mailer...I think they make 8x10 padded bubble mailers.

Yep.. And kinda have a general idea as to your weight. It may be cheaper just to mail by flat rate priority as well.

Yeah, they have those flat rate priority mail envelopes for $4.80 - but, to exceed that for media mail, you have to have over 8 pounds worth of games, so chances are that you will ship 1 game via FCM, and more than 1 game via media mail.
