Smile Recommended Tim Duncan Cards List

I think this would be better to make another thread.

    Subject was from this thread
    https://www.sportscardforum.com/showthread.php?p=5340990

my collection mainly consist of tim duncan. like seriously, just him. well the good stuff. anywho, the ones I want currently are:
my dream card would be a dual auto of tim duncan and david robinson!! might be able to make a custom in person one but......
    on to reality:
98-99 skybox autographics blue auto and the black!!
    best of the rest:
01-02 topps pristine auto tim duncan (might nnt be long till its in the ole pc!!)
    97-98 topps chrome refractor rc
01-02 topps pristine sweat n tears(looking for badly!!)
ud jersey patch from 98-99 thru 00-01
    stadium club traction
duncan limited version parallels(rave, ruby, etc)
    spx holoview and promotion

bolded part - that is not custom made card.=)

Rather it was released from Press Pass and total would be # /100

I had picture of that but not mine =)
(From NBA card DB at my PB) => picture is below located.

and I have been interested in Duncan.
(not my favorite but I have liked him. Because he is really efficient player like Hakeem Olajuwon.
    of course not similar though..)

SO I want to recommend for you a few cards.
(I'm not sure you already have some of below cards or not)

IF you have plan to keep this hobby endless, below list would be nice to you. =)

    College Brand

Edge Energy (1997 Collector's Edge) Tim Duncan

This is non perfect but still 3-D card.

And you can get this card as not expensive price.

PP DT Promo (1997 Press Pass Double Threat) Tim Duncan, David Robinson

This card is also not expensive..But really memorable for Spurs Fans.

    Described this card above..

1997-98 Ultra BGS 9 or more

Even BGS 8 is not easy.

But BGS 9 is really tough.

In 1997-98 season, the greatest Sensitive Rookie card is not SP Authentic but Ultra.

(But if you don't like grading card, you will be able to pass.)

    Tim Duncan (1997-98 EX2001 Essential Credential Future # / 6 )

    Good news - 6 cards released (look, T-MAC is only 2 !!)

Bad news - Hardcore duncan fans or 90's Parallel collector already got that.

1997-98 Metal Precious Metal Red Gem #/100 Tim Duncan
1997-98 Metal Universe Metal Gem #/50 Tim Duncan

    Gem Green would be better
(nothing to say more about gem green !!)

But above 2 PMG would be very nice.

1997-98 UD3 Season Ticket Trade (not from pack)

    1999-00 Stadium Club Co-Signers CO 1

Really memorable Because 2 toppest Class of 97 players are there.

And this is CO1. ODD is really crazy.

As rumor, this card was released around 15-20 prints.

5on5 Patch (2004-05 Skybox Fresh Ink Five on Five Jerseys Patch Spurs / Mavericks #/10) Tim Duncan

Above Patch is only 10 printed.

But if you can't afford that card you can choose this easily.
(or you can choose non-patched version as the same card above.)

Quad Jersey - Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Tim Duncan, Robert Horry(2005-06 Topps Luxury Quad Jersey #/193) Tim Duncan

or there is another similar Penta Jersey from Stadium Club.
(In that card, Bowen is there, too)

    Others
    Duncan / SHAQ Co-Signers from 2001-02 Stadium
    (I don't have picture now...)
    two dominent players of 2000's.

    total 50 cards were released.

    Shoe Lace Card
=> I don't comment about this because you already have one =)

Net Shredder from 1999-00 Skybox Apex

hope to be a little help to your pc. =)

i can not believe i forgot bout that dual auto. guess cause u dont see it that often. great list! those would be really nice for my pc. i'll try and get my pc photo'd. its not much but it is what it is. My duncan pc!! (i am a hardcore duncan fan, just dont have those "hardcore" deep pockets!!) but that ex would be sweet!

course with the addition of a george hill pc, my duncan took a small hit but I will soon get back on it. thanks for posting.

    Thanks mate..just want to share.

BTW, Every CO1 Co-Signers(from Stadium) is harder and harder than the others.

    For example, 1997-98 TSC CO1 is Kobe/Malone.

And that card has been expensive because both of two players are one of best and valued players(as SV).

If you watch 1999-00 TSC Co-Signers whole list, you would be able to notice that T-MAC/Duncan was the best combi in that set.

As T-MAC fan, I have only a few times seen that card since 2000.
(Trust me. I have seen even most of Duncan n T-MAC hardcore fans haven't had that card)

If I can see that Co-Signers in the future, I would want to get more.
(I wouldn't care about dupe as that card)

    I don't know what's that mean 11 x 14,sorry.

    For T-MAC/T.D. Co-Signers, I have seen only 2 or 3 include mine.
(But I quit my hobby for a while from middle of 2003 to middle of 2007.)

And the one I could see was owned by Crazy Japanese T-MAC Collector.
(But he sold whole his collection.)

    I don't know anything about that 11x14,mate.

Because I haven't liked oversized card because it is not easy to keep as safe.

BTW, very nice autograph with very nice picture. =)
