    Finding Athele Photos

I have seen several of you post successes where you sent an 8x10 TTM to get autographed. I have a few players that I would like to do that with, however I am wondering what is the best way to get good quality photos of athletes. Do you purchase them from a website like www.bestsportsphotos.com or is there a way to get them free online and then have them printed somewhere? I'm a student, so the most cost effective way is what I am looking to do. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Clayton

Wow...it would help if I spelled the title correctly. I meant to say "Finding Athlete Photos". Sorry.

you could just do a google search and use large or extra large images but they may be copy righted so youd have to print them yourself

it gets kind of dicey- as the guys above me said, if you have a decent printer and dont mind printing them yourself, just google for an image you like and print it. The issue is, almost all images online are technically copyrighted, and a lot of retail printing places wont print them. Making customs is another option- there are "a few" guys here who do really nice work, that may be an avenue to pursue as well

I hadn't seen that site before. It's a gold mine for smaller images perfect for customs! Thank you!

Flickr is way better for the average athlete. The xl photos are the way to go if you dont want a grainy 8x10

I use sams club and they are great. never had a problem. Just tell them you took it yourself and you are golden

I got Staples to print out some regular pictures. They're a little annoying with the sizing. So take the pictures and put them how u want in a Word Document. Upload it to them online and then you get to choose all the specifics.
